With reference to your advertisement in the daily ‘The Deccan Times’ dated 5 January 2010, I request  you to consider me as candidate for the post of Management Trainee in your esteemed firm.
I am  a 24 year old young man with a consistent academic record . I have a degree in English with First Class securing 70% aggregate from the University of El Dorado .
I have also a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the School Of Management Studies , Mumbai.
I am enclosing copies of the certificates of my educational qualifications along with a Passport size photograph. I shall produce these Certificates in original at the time of the interview which I solicit for at an early occasion. 
I will be greatly obliged if you will inform me of the duration and venue of the training as well as what is expected from a Management trainee in your firm. 

I assure you that, if  I am selected for the post, I will execute all my duties and responsibilities to the best of my abilities.

This is only a blueprint in the traditional format. You can also write in the modern format adding much vigor and vitality to the content. However, eschew over elaboration of details and unnecessary stylistic embellishments. Keep it short and dignified.
